I'm thinking about taking some time off from Kroger. Most people take the summer off to go to their respective homes away from Athens, but since I didn't do that I figure they owe me a quarter. =)
I don't want to quit, because it would be hard for me to find a job that I enjoy my coworkers as much as I do working there, but this quarter is turning out to be really busy if I continue working 15 hours a week.
On Wednesday, for instance, I have yoga at 9, a break at 10, class at 11, Lydia care after class until about 5, work at Kroger from 5:30-11, and I also start dogsitting for a "client" of mine on Wednesday. Needless to say, I have a feeling my plate will be full most of the time, and the 70 dollars a week I make at Kroger working 15 hours isn't worth the homework time it sucks up.
I'm going to talk to management when I go in at 3:15 today and see if taking a quarter "off" is possible. I'd like to start working again after finals week, so I'm going to see if Dave Schull will stop being a jerk for 10 minutes and understand that I enjoy working for him but need 9 weeks off.
Yeah right.

I thought you were with us at 3:15? You not coming this afternoon?
Well I was PLANNING on coming over until I had to work at 3:15 as soon as I picked up my car after class, but since it won't start I guess I'll just have to wait to play tea party with Lydia till Wednesday.
Grrrrrrrr. Sorry ... I just made an appointment with Alvis Auto (instead of my usual Athens Auto) for tomorrow morning. Hopefully they can figure out what is wrong.
